"Lovely place and atmosphere, we went for early lunch. Staff was friendly. More than enough parking available. There was a play spot for kiddies. We had the steak, eggs and chips and a eisbein with chips. Coke and bar-one milkshake. Drinks and food was super yummy!!!"

"Update: I visited again last weekend, yes without a doubt I had to order Eisbein & so did my biking companion. But there's a twist, the Eisbein was much smaller than when last we were here, disappointing. Equally great taste and grilled to perfection though. Our waiter was rather poor this day, I don't want to mention his name. We had to summon him many times via other waiters, often forgetting what we ordered or bringing incorrect items. For example we asked him what flavor of ice creams they had in stock, he came back with milk shake flavors. Then when a chcolate flavored ice cream was ordered, he brought a choc milk shake. Adder sending him back to get a chocolate ice cream. He came back with vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce drizzled over it. I'll definitely revisit but I hope the portion size of Eisbein could improve. On the other hand another friend ordered their Rump with Egg & Chips which was on special for R89, this looked like a generous sized portion & good value for money. It's been a while since I last visited here, since then this establishment has come under new management. I was happy to see it was much the same as I remembered it but with a few improvements. They have a limited menu and I ordered an Eisbein for lunch, I knew I'd have to wait a little while for it to be prepared, it was well worth the wait. The skin was very crispy & the meat was done to perfection. The one man band was strumming away some oldies in the background. They had a jumping castle for the kids, the pool looked inviting."

"Staff are friendly and very helpful. The food NEVER disappoints (look out for their specials on weekends!). There is indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor area is rustic and it's very beautiful between the trees - out in the fresh air. There is a little stream a little distance away from the tables that you can see and walk to. Lots of place for kids to play. Many amazing options of food on the menu's. Menu's are simple and easy to choose from. Live music on weekends during the day (that I know of). There is parking with a car guard. Love the place, my family and I eat here every weekend."
